My brain has seriously been degrading since i entered army. I was so stumped during tuition today. My student asked me a qns from his sch emaths paper (and it's not a top sch), and i could not solve this one particular qn. It is on angles properties of circle(the topic i hate the most, in terms of learning n teaching). My thoughts on this topic: you either see it or you don't. There is just one angle that i just can't find. Tried going through every possible type of angle in the chapter and i still cannot find it. I think i used to be able to solve those type of qns, but now i can't. so sad. and another Similar triangle qn, i took like dunno how long to figure out a one-step solution. even my student went, "hah? so easy ah?" I really ought to do some serious revision. my student is having her prelims in may (can you believe it? sch now are so crazy!) and there is really lots of stuff to cover b4 her exam. tuition sessions with her is really brain cell killing, but the money is gd. so why not? time to start working out those inactive cells. if not for all the PAM, CPR, AED stuff that i got to remember, my brain wave wld have been asytole long ago liao. flatline ________________________

been listening to Dreamgirls soundtrack again and again today. Just can't get enough of the songs and the movie. and this song, Listen by Beyonce is wow too. Wld it be better if sung by Jennifer Hudson? and this song clearly shows a artiste glamourous life isn't happy, esp when she is being used as a money making machine by her boss (n husband somemore).




and this has been floating around on the net for some time. 麻坡的华语. some ah beng rap that is so funny yet crude at the same time. but kudos to whoever came up with this. full of creativity.




maybe STB shld do something like this to promote singapore. get someone (not gurmit singh, had enough of the 'SARS is the virus that i just want to minus...') to rap something abt singapore, but it must be as crude as the muar one to gain attention. Got an idea. get some ah lian SQ girl (since they are so in the lime light these days) and start rapping 'xin ga po eh Singlish.....'
