I am always complaining that i have not taken a well rest, but i still kept running out of the house once the opportunity comes. Finally the long weekend i am looking forward to has come. Mon is company holiday. haha. no work and still get paid. since i am not working, it makes sunday feels like a saturday and i was like super energetic.

2 1/2 days of shopping is a bit crazy. sat met up with kc to go shopping for presents. basically combed the whole of suntec and marina sq. haha. but we did look at our own stuff too. then yest actually walked around town with mum. and today was 1/2 day of shopping at orchard. meant to find a gift and ended up buying something. It was on a offer i simply could not resist it.

and it was all just not shopping today. went to ecp to cycle. it's not the soreness of the leg that makes me tired, it the pain from the butt. It's really a great feeling hanging out in ecp on a monday morning. the crowd isn't there. Just the sea breeze and the morning sun. The whole feeling is like so calm compared to the chaotic weekends. me and tee were saying, the next time i can visit ecp on a monday morning would be after my contract end in june. Now that i found a new direct service to marine parade from bukit panjang, i think i gonna drop by there more often. Miss the old west coast park, where there is at least a sea line. now it is just pathetic.

luckily there is still tmr to recover from all these... if someone ask me out last min tmr, then haha...

when i first moved to a new seat at work, marc told me this "the person who sits down here will fall sick in less than 2 weeks, it has been proven." and words do come true. was down with a very very bad flu on tue.. ran of tissue and had to go 'kope' my boss's tissue (he got one whole stack on his desk). then wed MC liao... first MC on the job. It must be the damm aircon. The seat is in a location where the aircon just blows directly on me. 忽冷忽热,不病是怪. he then told me all those who sat in that seat, including himself, will take MC in about 2-3 weeks time. tat seat is so cursed. so yest and today, was armed with a jacket and everyone was going '你很冷啊?' lucky for the jacket, this morning meeting room was freezing cold.....

Saw a YEP trip this coming july... was actually considering whether to join. too many things in sg to take care of. firstly, wld be very disruptive to my 3 tuition kids. then my TP test is during that period. plus i think matriculation shld be also tat period... and it is just days after my hk trip. so in all, it wld really be a crazy mth if i go. Then, if i decide not to go, i wld just be idling around for almost the whole month, join some orientation camps and that's it. What a way to waste 1 mth huh. (reminds me of the days just before ORD, where everyday is just wasted away). dunno what stuck me also, this morning on the train, i just decide to go ahead and submit the application. might not get in also.. if really do get selected, i shall make the decision again. better than regretting only in july.

Just came back from my company DnG (Dinner n Games), no dance. it was pure madness.... as they had said, no management for the night. the management ppl themselves went crazy lah..... the fashion parade thing was the funniest. got ppl strip on stage (manager somemore), then got ppl crossdress.... laugh until jaws ache. and of course supporting our dept representive for the superstar contest, richard!! and there are some singing powerhouse in the company.... really, 人不可貌相...... it's nice to see everyone letting their hair down and enjoying the night.. but towards the end, things started to get draggy and ppl all start to zao liao.... we are seated right in front, so cannot zao....

dropped by nus for the medical check up today... really, the atmosphere is scary... ppl mugging everywhere.... from YIH to central library to all the common corridoors.... shivering at the thought of mugging, which is the end of this year....kim cheong n i were discussing.... are we able to adapt into the mugging world after 2 yrs break?

and someone had talked to me about Heroes. The series took a break and the next episode is the coming week! as it had been quite some time since the last epi, the suspense isn't that great liao... think i shall go watch ep 18 again..... and grey's anatomy also... took a long break. why must all the nice shows so many breaks??? spoiling the momentum....

I seems to have disappeared for quite some time. Reason? my comp crash!!! went to reformat the computer and the whole PC cannot boot up. in the end, called the acer guy come down (under extended warranty) and he replaced a whole hard disk for me. now the hard disk is so damm noisy. dunno if it is due to the disk not being attached to the rack well enough. finally after all the saga, all is well and working. luckily this time round i got back up data.

work was equally bad. so many problems due to the renovation. first it was the cock up of schedule during the weekend. had to stay longer than what we planned for. then monday, the printers start to cock up and it was chaos... this continued till today!! i am SBDL (quoted by my colleague) si bei du lan. and i moved to a new location. quite sian. surrounded by ppl on both sides (last time i was rather isolated). sitting right in front and when ppl walk past, they wld look at you like looking at animals stuck in a cage. ok, whatever... gonna be there for only 2 more mths.

such a bad bad 2 weeks for me...... must be due to friday the 13th.....

on a good note, i am confirmed going to hong kong. booked the air tickets and hotel liao. flying on jetstar. hope the seat isn't that cramped as what ppl say. it's a freaking 3 hrs plus flight. shall not complaint much as it is cheap. hotels is booked at 100 per night. rather cheap considering hk hotel prices. heard that the room is freaking small. looked at the pictures and it reminds me of first world genting. ok, most of the time i will not be in the room and i shld save the money and go shopping. or go gamble in macau. (I will be legally allowed to enter the casino by then).

ok. a rather senseless entry. brain is not working well. just a update on what is happening. shall blog more next time round.

2 entries in a day huh... i think i shld stop sleeping too much. ever since the weekend OT, my sleeping pattern is totally screwed and now, no matter how much i sleep, i still feel lethargic. kept yawning in front of the comp at work. so i was thinking, maybe i slept too much. so here i am, blogging.....

dear yz seems to be mugging really hard in aussie. he mentioned he dun understand what his lectuarer is talking about. haiz... i wonder if i would be able to get back into the studying mood after 2 yrs of break. imagine i go into a lecture hall and dun understand what the lecture is about... scary... esp in uni. heard some of them got very little notes... dunno why, sometimes i just got the 'i want to go back to sch' mood. if not for nus charging $200+ per module during the special sem, i may really consider maltriculating early... work does sucks sometimes(the only thing keeping me happy is the $$) and i feel really useless sometimes, something like my life is not enriching at all.

talking abt enriching myself, i am really seriously thinking abt going for the jap course. Got tasked to help a user set up his printer in office today, and to my horror, it was a jap OS! so i had to figure out which is the button to press from my memory of the eng OS. and the keyboard punctuation keys are all slightly different from our eng ones... I was then thinking, if i knew japanese, it wld be good. plus, i had a slight interest in it, but not those type like crazy over it. I am just lazy to go down to queensway area twice a wk or once a wk for lessons. so i shld get my lazy ass down to the sch and make payment. with the money in consideration, i wld be sure to turn up and learn something. I shall call them tmr..

went walk walk with ah tee just now. walk through the whole raffles city, suntec and marina sq, helping him find clothes for work. i am acting as his fashion consultant. telling him which shirt makes him look so 斯文, which one looks like he is going clubbing. most of the time, we are looking at the prices and then running off in horror. i was saying, it wld be damm nice if we are able to shop without looking at price, just grab anything i want, then flash the card, sign, and tat's it. no wonder so many ppl want to be tai tais... guys can go and be 'bao' by some rich tai tais....

and oh ya, we saw elvin ng filming some show with an actress(never see b4 one, looks a bit like felicia chin) at raffles city. surprised that elvin ng looks quite big built and tall, cause on tv, he seems so small size(and i tot tv is supposed to make you look fatter and bigger, which is why those stars are silm like fu*k). he is indeed good looking. no wonder so many girls like him... I am however surprised that no one stays and watch him, or try to get his autograph or take picture with him. maybe he is not tat famous. me and tee were talking abt meeting stars like step sun. haha. i wld immediately ask her for a photo!

I was thinking, is singapore becoming an architect's playground? quite a lot of new projects up and coming. First was the singapore eye, which structure is almost complete (or complete?). From my office pantry, i can see the whole circle structure done. Wonder how it will eventually look like? Then it would be the new IR, both and sentosa and marina. the marina structure looks interesting, esp with the roof top garden, and the building with curved surface. meanwhile, IR sentosa does not offer something refreshing. also not to forget to mention, marina barge, a new bridge over the marina are, changi airport T3 and many many more. Certainly a refreshing look to the skyline of SG.



With such great constructions, people of singapore are bound to start talking.


First with the marina IR. some has commented that the plates look like ancestral plates (祖先牌), and some guys have joked that by building 3 buildings facing the IR, they can pray to the ancestors liao. duh.....

I personally like the garden on top design. It would be cool to be swimming or jogging up there.

Another cool design would the the new sports hub at kallang. It features the open roof stucture, and the field which can be tugged out of the stadium and convert it into a water sports venue. Tat wld really be an engineering marvel. How would they stabalise the field when games or ndp is going on, and how they are going to detach the whole thing and drag it out into water. It would be really cool if it really works. anyway, this is just a proposal and not confirmed

I read something online and i immediately laughed out loud. While designers claim it is a horseshoe design, people have trashed it by saying it looks like a toliet seat cover!!!! plus the pool of water in the centre..... I leave it to ur imagination...

Of course, the real architect's playground wld be in dubai. building the world tallest building. plus the new jebel ali international airport and they are also expanding the current one.

argh!!! Just came back from work. Company having reorg so have to change lots of stuff in the system before monday. Though my workload is not much, quite some bit of time is spent slacking, but going through the list of datas and datas is so stressful, esp when there is no room for screw ups. Did vlookup on excel till i was stupidly pasting the wrong values. luckily i spoted this mistake. and i screwed up the filtering and i had to go through the whole spreadsheet(shit) again. After working here, my excel skills improve from 2/10 to 8/10 liao. Then when uploading data into the system, also have to extra careful. Stress ah!!! Luckily, both my tuition students tomorrow called to cancel their session tmr. I cancelled my driving lesson too. gonna sleep and sleep tomorrow. have not had a good sleep since dunno when. (then why the hell am i still up and typing this entry?) and the next 2 weekends still have major things going on in the company. sianz. must claim OT. claim OT!!!!!!!!

was listening to 933 the whole day at office during this period and this song really perks me up. 我相信by 杨培安. think this was quite a old song alreadly and 933 kept playing this song. really full of energy and the addictive rock rhythm.




this would make a great song for a concert! next time go ktv must sing this!
