it's has been an exciting week. was attached to ADF med grp at HQMC. yeah! no need to stay in camp to do all the shit. in fact, at ADF, except for all the carrying, unloading, loading, it is quite slack. in fact, with so many people helping, the loads were still managable.

what i had to help out with is actually a peace support operation container. it is something like a mobile hospital. i was at the operating theatre section. what we had to do is to expand the container and then set up the theatre. from outside, the container looked like it is automated, but what they didn't know was that we were pushing from outside. even today, during the launch, some of the officers thought it was automated, but too bad it is not. talk abt 3G army.

today, the lauch was really successful. it was really panic time during the deployment. me, being at the OT, had to open up the container from scratch and then push the side walls out. the wall on my side almost got stuck, and before we even finish setting up the OT, the chief of army was alreadly outide the container, waiting to come in to look through. but luckily, all went well and we were constantly being praised. the reward?? dunno got how many days off, haven decided yet. hope it would be at least 2-3 days.

after the launch, by right we were supposed to keep everything, but it was cat 1, so we get to slack inside the officer mess at hqmc. the mess is really really nice. think it is the nicest mess i ever seen. and of course, we get to drink duty free beer. shiok! dun mind being attached here more often, and no need to do all the shit in camp. but dun think sgt nur would want to attach us out again.

i think i am high on alcohol now. tmr still have tuition and i got a new assignment! now hoping to get maybe 1 more on a weekday. money money money!!!

long weekend!!

the long weekend has finally come to an end. i got off on thu, so got an extra day of rest. In total 4 days of no work!! I feel like a civilian. Dunno if i should make it a 5 day break. play some stunt tmr. no mood to work after such a long break

at least i did something during this break. my new comp is all set up and ready and my room is much neater now, without disc and books lying all abt my room. the LCD screen really free up a lot of space from my desk. my cock up printer has also been exchanged and now it is working fine. also carried on watching 仙剑奇侠传. Some of the parts are funny, but the love between 逍遥 and 灵儿 is so touching. the funny thing i just watched was the son of the 蛤蟆精. Though there has been so many computer graphics in this show, why can't they make the character out of computer graphics instead of getting someone to wear the funny looking suit. looks like some oversized teletubbies like tat.

been so bored that i found quite a lot of crap on youtube. this got to be the ultimate lame crap.

weekends...

I never really appreciate weekends until army. During BMT, it was the only time at home and it was a very very short one. sometimes, only from sat afternoon till sun evening. It is the only time where i can do whatever i want, go wherever i want to go and sleep all i want. During SMM, at least weekends were longer and i could go out with my frens. Now, at unit, it is the same too, but many weekends have to be burnt due to duties. So i dun mind other people kena extra and cover more duties. Everyday is just sometimes spent counting down towards the weekends. Suffering from monday blues, tuesday blues, until wed, where my mood becomes better. Then thu, i feel much happier and on fri, yes! TGIF!!!! Weekends are only days where i can sleep till 11 or 12pm without people disturbing. Although sometimes, i may feel that sleeping through weekends is a total waste of it, but sleeping till your fill is just so enjoyable. i just feel so fresh and energetic when i wake up. So i will be very happy if i am getting a full weekend. sat are meant to go out and have fun, sun is meant for sleep and recuperation. Lucky me, i only have one weekend duty this month (thanks to someone getting extra), and it is on the 30th. gonna have 2 more free weekends, plus the long gd friday weekend! 4 more days to a long break!

IPRE was finally over. the inspector only came down during the last day and he seems quite pleased with what we have done. so glad we didn't have to repeat it. wearing the mask is indeed suffocating. and with the suit on, it doesn't even help much when there are 2 fans blowing directly at you. And there are so many bloody forms to fill up that patients can't help but feel pissed. I feel pissed too ok?

and there is bad bad news. by right, after this week, it would be lull period, but due to some evaluation thing, we got to have lessons all the way!!!! sianz. sianz sianz. ok ok, i shouldn't be complaining, there are other ppl who have much more worse life than me. ok, shut up.

was watching miss singapore universe just now. the question thrown to the girls is "what is your take on the notion that foreign guys are much better than singaporean guys?" are foreign guys really much better than local guys? some girls have complained that singaporean guys are less sensitive and are MCPs. but look at some foreigners, i seems to think that they have much worse attitude than locals. What one of them said was true, local guys have the same moral values as the girls whereas foreigners, esp westerners have an entirely different sets of moral values. Looks wise, i do agree that some singaporean guys are too small compared to the western guys, but why have a big guys when girls themselves are so small size? On this topic, it has set me thinking, are foreign girls much better than local girls? btw, miss singapore ain't tat fabulous....

April's Fool!!!

yeah! finally got my new comp. paying by instalment, all my myself. i told my mum, i shall pay for it since i want it. so luckily got some extra income from tuition, i am able to pay for it. But getting this comp up and ready is really shitty. initially, the modemn could not work. had to call ppl to find out and solve it. spent the whole of yest night doing it, finally done. then, the printer cock up. i suspect the fuse has blown, and i have to wait for the company to come and do a replacement. but i ain't complaining that much.... with a much bigger hard disk, yeah, i can ......... (shall not say out here. those who know me will know)

been a busy and hectic wk. work for IPRE is going on. have to set up tentage and set up barricades around the medical centre. plus the admin work that is involved. gd that can siam life run due to the preparation. also went for SAR 21 conversion on wed. it is really a relatively much easier rifle to fire. but for night shooting, i still kuku. dun care lah. just pray to pass range, which is next mth!!!!

today is april's fool. haven play a fool on ppl yet.... since there is no sch, no work, hard to find ppl to play with. unless call them lah, tell them some crap shit things..... haha. i am not in the mood to do so... but still, it is not the end of the day. going for tuition later... but cannot anyhow play with my student lah... let me see, who can i ka jiao???
