the good old days

was actually bored today so i looked through my songs on my comp and realise damm, it is really freaking lots. started to look out for the older songs that i have not listened to for quite some time. listened to them and it does bring back some memories...

关怀方式 - 陈汉伟 蔡礼莲 ( a lot of people always thought the female voice was 朱茵. oh man. tat movie was like so many many yrs ago. still remember it was set in the hungry ghost festival of a love story. still remember they were penpals i think and then chen han wei actually came to singapore to look for her and then they fell in love. still, chen han wei character died in the end and zhu yin had to sing for him at the ge tai)
选择 - 叶倩文 林子祥 (this was the classic love song at tat time. a must sing at KTV and during wedding dinner, engagement ceremonies)
至少还有你 - 林忆莲 (remind me of this 全世界的猪都死了 猜一首歌)
寂寞公路 - 伍思凯
祝你一路顺风 - 吴奇隆 (most sang during graduation. then people start to cry)
浪花一朵朵 - 阿牛 光良 任贤齐 (another of the graduation song)
Like a rose - A1 ( I love this song so much)
cry - mandy moore ( i still remember the movie A walk to remember. it is just so sweet)
come what may - evan mcgregor & nicole kidman (from moulin rouge, one of my fav movie in time. still remember the fancy sets and costumes, backed with excellent acting by nicole kidman and of course this sad song)
baby one more time - britney spears (i dun really like britney, but this was the song we did our class dance back in sec 1. and i still remember we got a sucky grade for it when i thought it was quite good)
summer nights - John Travolta/Olivia Newton-John (NJ mass dance. miss those orientation days. everyday in sch was just fun and making new friends. and it is the only period in NJ that i truly miss)
wannabe - spice girls ( i love the spice girls back then. my first cd bought was their album. back then, they were like the hottest girl band on earth. boyband were nothing then. and of course their other hits like 2 become 1, too much, spice up your life etc etc. still remember was spinning the cd over and over again on my cd player until it got scartch! cd were expensive back then. and of course the movie spiceworld ( i think). stupid movie though)
i don't want to miss a thing - aerosmith (from the movie armagedon. one of my fav movie to time too. still remember the scene where the dad sacrifice himself for the whole earth and telling her daughter to live on. that scene was so heart wrentching and i almost teared. imagine seeing your loved ones die in space and all you can see is him through the tv)

getting nostalgic again huh. thanks to all these songs forkeeping me company through my growing years. it is really nice to think back the good old days once in a while.
