just came back from huang cheng. my first time actually watching. wanted to go in previous yr but can't get tickets. are the tickets really sold out tat fast?? went with kunying, lee ching n peishan. kunying was wearing this cap and he sure looked like an artist. peishan changed a lot too. got long hair. almost can't recognise her. not only me, when other ppl saw her, they also say the same thing. haven seen these guys for a very long time liao. quite fun chatting and catching up with them.
huang cheng was like a super big production. the props were really elaborate and really, lots of work is being put into it. out of the 3 skits, i enjoyed the last one the best. one thing was because it was funny. a lot of comical features added into it. it is talking abt how new things and trade are slowly replacing the old ones, but what it can't replace is the spirit or the smell (wei dao) as they called it. but the scene is so comical, still got mother giving birth. the 2nd one was also nice, but too much quarreling. the first one was just not there. can't really get what it is trying to tell. but overall gd work i wld say.
starting to feel sian now. going back to camp tmr. back to all the training. see, time really flies. next time i really sit down and think back, think it wld be the block leave after pop. argh!! i am so so so loooking forward to tat. and hopefully i get a slack vocation. talked with kunying abt driving lesson and it sounds quite fun. probably i wld go learn if i get a 8 to 5 vocation. he said it wld cost 1k plus and i guess i got to dig into my savings, or wld be better if my mum is willing to sponser it. she once said tat. well, wait until 3 months later than see lah.
and oh ya. uploaded the song tong hua by guang liang. i really really like this song. dunno how to say why i like it, but it is like the feeling is there. thinking of buying his album liao. china import of course. and also ah sang new album. shall see how it goes. was reading abt desperate housewives on 8 days just now. i managed to catch one episode on mon and damm, it was hot!! are housewives tat beautiful?? not like the auntie or huang lian po we see in singapore?? haha. the plot is kind of interesting also. someone having scandal then, the mother in law found out and got hit down by a car, which is driven by another neighbour son. interesting.... too bad cannot watch anymore. hope a vcd version wld come out later.

ending
I woke up surprisingly early today. even i was amazed at the time i woke up. perhaps it is the fact that block leave is ending and i have to be stuck in camp most of the time again. by sleeping less, i guess i have more time to do some stuff of my own.
been downloading music again. not using p2p thingy. they got lots of virus looting around. using the dumbass baidu website. so many broken links. but the gd thing is tat some rather old song can be found on that site. just have to bear with it cause there ain't any other thing that i know of. talking abt dumbass site, another wld be the IRAS website. while helping my parent fill in their income tax, i filled up everything then click on verify, the whole site helped me log out instead and i have to fill it up again. dumb! plus the new format got lots of link and i think the server is rather clogged up and loading of some pages takes donkey yrs!! tat's the bad abt using the internet to do stuff, ie eservices. though very convenient, but when things cock up, it can make one super frustrated, or make one paranoid or whatever, esp when he or she is an computer idiot. like the recent moe thingy, ppl were complaining like xiao.
seems like recently i have been rather interested in jap stuff. watched a few animae these few days, including the hit movie spirited away. yah shld be tat title. what was gd was tat the movie was very captivating right from the start. i was like hooked onto the screen for 2 whole hrs. although at the end i might have a feeling tat the story is rather crap, but i enjoyed the whole movie. even mum was hooked onto it somehow. and the next wld be memoirs of a geisha. i feel sad at knowing how girls are being sold into the trade. the story is also captivating, i was reading on an on and on... now i am thinking after my BMT, shld i take up japanese??
i dun want to think abt the coming sunday. it's back to tekong again. but the gd thing is 10 more weeks and i am done. with BMT only. hope to get a gd posting and hopefully enjoy the remaining 1.5 yrs. most of my frens got posting liao. some gd, some bad. depends on how one see it.

block leave
I am so lazy. This entry should have come days eariler. but i just didn't bother then.
now is block leave week, which leaves me with 10 more weeks of BMT training before i can FO from that place and hopefully dun go back there ever again. Just before the block leave, the whole week was simply crap! mon and wed was so called logistic day, dunno what the instructors or rather commanders had to do on tat day. so what we did was just to sleep in bunk the whole day. go for lunch then come back sleep again, except for the occasional heads out crap. then the other days were doing sai gang day. on tue when the enhanced ppl pop, have to go do sai gang, which was a really dumb job. To keep dogs from entering the parade square. throughout the whole event, we didn't even see a single dog. i was paired up with Alnsley and i was digging a hole while he sharpening a tree branch, just in case a dog comes by and we can stab it to death! on thu and fri, it was enlistment day, again, eagle coy got sai gang to do. this time round, i didn't kena much sai gang, except moving some display board and foxtrot CSM rewarded us with 5 pack of the goodie bag the visitors got. i mean each person getting 5. bookout then followed and i was so happy. getting out of tat place for one whole week!
enough of army life. back to school!! not to study though. went to the nus open day with yz. chiobu galore. all the way from clementi bus interchange to the 2 girls who brought us around the arts n social sci fac. i guess i more or less decided on geography. as for 2nd choice, i wld be putting real estate. maybe sociology comes in 3rd. but studying sociology seems like so GP. after walking around the FASS, we went to the faculty of medicine. it was like practically dead there. no much ppl around, then the guides there were like so duh. i thought there wld be a visit around the fac and maybe i cld see the labs with some funky bloody gory things, or the lab where they practice their surgery skill, ie on dead bodies ( i heard) and so on. but there was simply nothing. not sure if we missed the timing or wat. guess i will never have the chance to see those things. decided to eat at NUH food junction before going down to suntec city for the IT fair. pia down there in a cab. the fair was freaking crowded and one wld have so much difficulty walking round the exhibition. basically, i didn't see much things lah. was looking out for a dvd writer but the prices were still too high for my budget. chanced upon a minolta digital camp at 399. quite a gd deal, but money doesn't part from me tat easily. went home and considered this, consider tat, decided tat having a cam now wld be rather useless, except during POP, then it wld be rotting in my cupboard. so a saturday was spent like this. and what a sat i enjoyed, without having to think abt sun, where normally i have to book in.
then on to monday. decided to go to the guan yin temple with mum. was thinking of going to pray during CNY, but it was too crowded then. as usual, the temple was crowded, but unlike other temple, it doesn't have tat much incense fumes there. what was worth complaining was the weather. it was so freaking hot tat i drank 2 bottles of mineral water at one go after the visit. like having water parade. walked around bugis area, went to the bugis market to buy some t shirt. now much easier to buy clothes liao. L size tee can fit me. then gd loh. and also lah, the place is like a giant oven. freaking hot!!!!! went to kino and bought memoirs of a geisha. i finished chapter 1 and it was interesting, for it was the first time i read a book about somebody. it was from the geisha called sayuri perspective, but yet it was written by another guy. interesting. so far, i thought it was a gd one. and btw, the bourne supremacy was ulter crap, esp the ending. in fact, i just scanned through the last few pages before proceeding onto my new book.
yeah. finally can have late nights and wake up late. maybe go for a swim again tmr. just went for one today and the number of kids in the pool can make u go crazy. many of them were having swimming lessons and they were swimming along the breadth of the pool. it is like crossing a road with heavy traffic. funny tat cck pool doesn't have a swimming pool of like 1 m height for children learning swimming. saw a few kids were struggling at the edge of the pool and it was like 1.2 m deep. luckily by late afternoon, the pool became more empty and was much easier to swim. seriously need to exercise, for the past few days have been eating like nobody business. what i thought it true, once i pop, i can't stop. in camp, without food, i wldn't think much of eating, but now at home, oncei got nothing to do, i wld head off to the kitchen. but i think tmr there wld be not much to munch on, as the kitchen have been cleared by me. now my weight is abt 100 and i wanna push it down to 2 digit during this week. have to work hard!

results out..
haven updated for a long time. 2 weeks only lah. the same thing lah, the same old usual stuff in camp. been feeling so damm bored. but now looking back, hey, i have survived 12 weeks in bmt. one more week and i wld get my block leave, then 12 more weeks then FO from tekong. frm what i learnt, FO got 2 meaning lah. one is to fall out. another is to F*ck off. sometimes, it doesn't matter.
at least last week we got something new. there is recruits nite. not really a night for eagle coy, but we still went down there to watch the performance. think bravo performance the best loh, but they didn't get champion. then the performance by MDC. hot babes dressed in sexy dress! just that the guys in the performance outnumber the girls lah. but wat to do? saf wat..... then got games day. it is stupid tat CO want us to go there and watch the game, but our coy only took part in 2 games. cause we are not going to POP. the tug of war is so 'lau kui' loh. we lost in just 5 seconds to gryphon. but it cld be due to the weight limit wat. they have 10 ppl, we only got 8. surely at disadvantage. and the tug of war is one where everyone is seated on the floor, so weight doesn't really matter....
then today the A LEVEL RESULTS!!!!! didn't feel tat much stress as last time when i got my o levels results. perhaps being in camp kept my mind away from the results thingy. did not bad. got A for maths and phy, C for econs and B3 for GP. econs is expected to be tat screwed lah, so i am satisfied alreadly. even passed my expectation of ABC. then get B3 for GP, dun need to take what english module in uni. heard frm Mr Goh that one has to take the module until he scores an A grade. luckily dun have to go through those shit. reminds me of taking CLAO when other ppl are slacking away somewhere in sch. now tat results are out, i am much more decisive on what to do in uni. think most likely i wld choose to do geography. geog has always been an interest to me and i think tat wld be the best lah. somemore heard tat arts fac much easier to get in, so with my grades, i am hoping that i can get in lah. as for my 2nd choice and after, haven really thought about it. what if really suay suay (touchwood) i cannot get in geog, still have to study something i do not hate wat... whatever... wait until my block leave then i settle all these shit. back to results lah, my whole class did freaking well! almost everyone got 4 As. those ppl in front of me was like AAAAA all the way, then when it come to me, then out comes a C. aiya, whatever..... now tat results are out. can finally lift a load off my chest. so now just serve for another 1 yr 9 mths and then back to study....

finally survived through 10 weeks of BMT. for the enhanced batch, it means it is gonna be POP for them. but for me, haha... still a long long way to go... at least now things are getting more exciting, as in all the military stuff are coming in. just went for route march yest. it is not the walking that is killing but it is the stupid field pack or the full battle order. loads of crap to be carried in it.

end of holidays...
the holidays have come to an end so quickly. it sucks that i have to report back to camp tonite. today have to be at pasir ris at 5.30 somemore. so bloody early. sinking into pre book in depression....
the cny holiday was rather boring. on the first day, it was just visiting visiting visiting. collecting hongbaos frm relatives. watching tv at their hse. talking come cock with ppl. eating eating. what a bore! realise that just visiting ppl can be damm tiring. came home and plonk onto my bed almost immediately. the 2nd day was much worse. have to wake up early to help my mum prepare the stuff as my relatives are coming over to my hse. think my mum cooked too much. got lots of left over after they left. and the cleaning up part sucks too. my room was left in a mess after my cousins were enjoying themselves. cards all over the floor. bits and pieces from snacks on the floor and even on my bed!!!!! argh!! horrible!!!!
went out to rot on the 3rd day with yz. watched seoul raiders. a rather interesting show. too bad i knew the twist way before i watched the movie. if not it wld be more intereting for me. and shu qi's dubbing sounded funny. like she cannot speak proper chinese like tat. walked around orchard after tat. realise tat being in the army is damm sad. why? no girls to look at! the only species of the opp sex wld be the cookhse auntie. sianz! really miss the school days... and i also realise tat the china parallel import have invaded s'pore local cd stores. went to That CD Shop and initially i tot the cd there wld be damm ex as the decor of the shop is so damm class. realise that they sell damm lots of those import cds. more than chinatown. at 9.90 per disc. haha. it wldn't be long before hmv starts selling them huh.

Gong Xi Fa Cai!! It's the CNY again!! no much of the new yr mood. no new yr mood in camp. only until today before we book out, we were given 2 mandrain orange each and some new yr snack. lucky got 9 o'clock bookout, not like what sgt koh told us last week tat we will only book out after lunch. basically, this week is a zoh boh week lah.
as for hong bao income, haha.... just hit the 3 digit! quite a good start to a new yr. tmr then will roughly know my income for this yr. haha!

another week.
another week have passed in camp. 7 weeks into army life. 19 weeks more to POP. still a long long way to go. shouldn't think too much about tat. looking on the good side. i lost 10 kg alreadly! going to go below the 100 mark. Hope i can achieve tat before CNY, but will surely put back after CNY. just went new yr shopping with mum today. this yr only buy a bit of stuff. cannot whack too much during CNY. I realise having to control what you eat everyday is a torture. this one cannot eat, tat one cannot eat. what's the point of living?? 'neng chi shi fu'
this week si bei sian. kena guard duty. for regimentation one. not kena punishment one. hope no more guard duty for me( dun do anything stupid). guard duty is not totally not fun! firstly, i was doing sentry, which means holding the stupid shield and baton, then standing at the ferry terminal. the 8-10 shift was still ok, got ppl walking, then got officers to greet. not tat sian. the 2-4 am shift sucks! totally nothing to do. just leaning against the wall or walking up and down the terminal, looking at fish jumping abt in water, looking at planes taking off frm changi. totally sian! next is the guard room. Looks like shit! the bed are all so old that they creak when u lie on it. then 2 out of 5 fan is spoilt. makes the room hot and stuffy! the pillow is also in a super bad condition. and sleeping in boots is super uncomfortable! didn't sleep much the whole nite, and still had activity the next day. it's a miracle i still survived the day feeling rather fresh throughout!
my cough came back again. been coughing like hell. dunno if it is the so called tekong cough, or if it is caused by my sinusitis problem. couldn't sleep well the whole nite. woke up in the middle of nite, then cough cough cough for quite some time before going back to sleep. then during PT, coughing makes me feel worse also. dun wanna go report sick liao. getting the att b status is super sian. either sit down at training shed doing nothing or do 'sai gang' (shit work). if report sick, might as well get att c!
and damm it! bought another CD again. now got own pay liao. got tat 'i'm richer' thought. couldn't control myself and went to bought jay chou live CD. could say i bought the CD mainly cause the disc contains most of his hits song. and another reason is tat he sang 'dao dai', which was originally sung by jolin. but i think his version is dammm good! he shld have kept tat song for his own! couldn't find david tao new album at imm, so didn't buy tat. or shld i make a trip to chinatown again? and now i realise that the china import CD are flooding neighbourhood. saw them selling at Bukit batok, then also at IMM. but it is priced at $9.90, a little more ex than the usual $7 at chinatown. dunno if daivd tao one is alreadly released in china and imported into sg. argh!!!! if this goes on, my pay gonna be gone in no time!

and damm it! bought another CD again. now got own pay liao. got tat 'i'm richer' thought. couldn't control myself and went to bought jay chou live CD. could say i bought the CD mainly cause the disc contains most of his hits song. and another reason is tat he sang 'dao dai', which was originally sung by jolin. but i think his version is dammm good! he shld have kept tat song for his own! couldn't find david tao new album at imm, so didn't buy tat. or shld i make a trip to chinatown again? and now i realise that the china import CD are flooding neighbourhood. saw them selling at Bukit batok, then also at IMM. but it is priced at $9.90, a little more ex than the usual $7 at chinatown. dunno if daivd tao one is alreadly released in china and imported into sg. argh!!!! if this goes on, my pay gonna be gone in no time!

sucks!
I have been too lazy to update. It has been damm tiring, although my training have not gone into the 'xiong' phase. The short weekend home is indeed sucky. book out on sat, book in on sun. haven warm the sofa at home then have to go back camp liao.
some updates on camp life. last week. wah piang! super happening in my company. apparently, some kuku went to complaint that ppl were smoking in the toilet. then platoon 2 ppl own up. kena fucked upside down by OC and CSM. then dunno how also, platoon 3 ppl (my platoon) also admitted to smoking in toilet. then they all kena fucked again. first time hear OC scream so loud. then in the end the whole company kena fucked. all kena spot check. the sgts came to check our cupboard individually. then they also check handphone. wah lan eh. they check the call record to see if u got use phone during office hrs and after lights out. lots of ppl kena for tat sia! luckily i neve kena. but i have nothing to be afraid of also. i abide by the rules. i am a guai soldier. haha!
then this week is super suay. sick the whole week sia! monday morning wake up keep running to the toilet. went to see MO. diarrhoea. take medicine, felt much better. then on att B. sit down there doing nothing. tue also att B. so didn't take part in exercise. only got take part in the rifle cleaning lesson. no matter how u clean the rifle still dirty one. then at night, sibei suay! kena fever again! went up to 38.5. went to see MO immediately. I was hoping to get att c also, so tat i can rest properly at home. indeed, got att c and took the 10pm fastcraft back. but have to go back to camp on wed nite, then book out on thu morn. i was like WTF! so i just went to see outside doctor to get another day MC. so i am getting a ultra long weekend. but most of the time was spent in bed anyway. feeling 'gong gong' most of the time. plus my throat is inflammed, can't even eat properly. It was simply torture sia! Luckily by yest afternoon, i got much better.
went to chinatown with my parents yest nite. dunno why, this yr like no mood for new yr. got to do with army i guess. just walk around there, buying some new yr stuff and clothes. and damm, despite losing some weight, my body size seems to still remain the same leh. sianz. still hard to buy clothes. found a shirt tat is nice n cheap, but i need to lose abt 2 inches off my tummy before it cld fit nicely. nvm! i will work hard. the only 'gain' yest nite was the china imported cd i bought. as usual, every trip down there will confirm buy some CD. bought jacky live performance CD. it was gd!!!! strongly recommended. lee hom new album just sucked!
Sianz. the short break is going to come to an end. 2 full week before CNY. think will also go camp and 'zoh boh' one loh. army life sucks ! hope i cld get a posting where i can stay out. at least a few hrs at home of gd quality rest will keep me sane for 2 yrs!

sick
i am back at this odd hour when i shld be in camp. Not on AWOL. just that i am down with fever for the past few days. on wed morning, i was freezing in bed and then went to report sick. saw the MO, which was a better MO this time roundm, who took time to examine me and tell me about the medicine as i was allegic to paracetamol, which is the common medicine for fever. got 2 days att c. so get to go home. took the 12 o'clock fastcraft back. all the while, i was so blur. partly because i was a bit 'gong' frm the fever, and also i dunno wat to do. got another guy att c also, so i sort of followed him lah. he show the RP the status slip, then i did so also. while waiting for the ferry, i met moses, also on att c. then we reached SFT, all blur. can we just walk out? then we just walk out and catch a bus to pasir ris. then fever did not subside, went to see doctor again. temp went up to 38. got another 2 day MC. which means i only need to book in on sun. a much needed rest. getting a good sleep.
talking abt a gd nite sleep, in camp, haven been able to get a good sleep. lights out at 2230, but some idiot in the bunk decide to talk at the top of their voice till dunno wat time. being a light sleeper, of course i cannot sleep until they sleep loh. that's not all. in the morning, before 5 o clock. some kuku alarm clock began to ring. then at the first ring i wake up liao. for some, they turn off their alarm clock almost immediately and then went back to sleep again. i of course just shut my eyes for a while or stare at the celling until it is time for me to wake up. then there will be this super irritating alarm clock. the beeping is super irritating and yet the owner can sleep like a pig and dun bother about it. and i am always the one to go turn it off. super irritating!! i mean what's the point of setting the alarm clock so fucking early when u dun even wake up?? i cld have gotten a few more minutes of precious sleep. so in camp, i was looking like a zombie most of the time. so weekend are spent catching up on sleep, but somehow that seems like a waste of my precious weekend. so many things i want to do. catch up on all the news and things i missed during the week. army life really sucks! can't wait for the 2 yrs to pass quickly, or at least until june, then i can F off frm the island.
my mum told me i have turned more vulgar nowadays. thinking abt it, it is quite true. i realise i have been using more of 'zee bai' these days. no surprise of course. being exposed to vulgarities inside camp. speaking to other ppl in such tone. i better start controlling myself. it ain't nice to use such words, esp in front of girls.
tmr no one to go out with me. most of my frens are going in these few days and thus got confinment. yz going in tmr. and today dunno what happen to him also lah. msg him never reply. pre enlistment depression?? think everyone will suffer frm that. still considering whether to go for the NTU talk. been interested to take a look at the aerospace engineering course. tmr then decide lah.
