It has been a wet and cold day. been raining non stop since this morning.... i am all wrapped up, even at home. just so so so so cold. even yest, while we were at ubin, it also rained.
and yup. our annual visit to ubin. the same old ppl, peishan, leeching, kunying, teewei n me. before we even travelled to the jetty, it alreadly rained. and while we were cycling halfway, it rained also and we were stuck outside the toilet at mamam beach, and our only source of entertainment was kunying's camera. cycled somemore and it rained again. ultra sianz. at the end, we were all dirty n wet. but it is the company that we enjoyed most! It is really amazing that despite we meet up only like once every few months, but everytime, we have tons of topics to talk abt. whereas with some people, though we meet everyday, we are hardly able to get a proper conversation going. anyway, it was a really nice day spent with them.
watched renci charity show just now on tv. it seems really hard to get donations after the nkf saga. of course, renci seems like the innocent party, but ' yi zhi gun da fan zhen chuang ren', loosely translated; one rod can overturn the whole boat full of people. people aren't going to part with their money so easily, esp with the doubt on where their money is going to. but looking on the other side, there are really people that need our help. so don't ever give up on charities. i donated $5 too. it is not much, but i hope i can help a bit. talking abt helping, i should also try to do a bit of chairty work in my free time nowadays. ok, i shall try.
