yeah! get to spend an extra day home due to national day. dunno why SMM doesn't give us any off tmr. at least spare a thought for the instructors, where some of them had NDP cover duty today. tmr gonna be a bad day for them i guess, and it is gonna be a bad day for me too i think. test test and more tests coming up this week. but what they said is true. army test cannot fail one. but i shld at least know the basics, if not it is surely gone case.

an quick update on last week. cleared my pharmacology test. thought it was rather easy and last minute studies does help me secure a few points. then we had chemical defence. wearing the suit tat is freaking hot! plus the stupid mask tat makes even breathing laboured. wonder how one is going to fight in such a suit. we only had the suit on, not including SBO. luckily the day was raining and wearing the suit and doing all the drills wasn't tat tough. then on thu, we went to seletar camp for our confidence exercise. we had to go into this smoke chamber tat is filled up with tear gas. our grp was damm suay loh. while on the bus to the smoke chamber, a tonner broke down in front of us, blocking up the whole road, then the bus cannot go in. in the end, we had to walk all the way to the chamber, and my platoon had to carry 6 jerry cans. luckily there were quite a lot of us to take turns. then after wearing the suit and going into the chamber, we were made to do some exercise and then had to take out our mask and walk out of the chamber. the gas just made my eyes tears and my nose and throat feel hot!!! it is definitely a shitty feeling. but doing this chem defence is still an experience in itself.

and we had the AED, automatic external defibrillator, lesson on fri. it is the device that can shock someone if he suffer from a cardiac arrest. same thing, got test again, but the test is so lagi easy. they even 'revise' with you before the test. then the practical test. luckily i kena a very easy one and i cleared it one shot. some had to go 3 times loh.

have to bk in again tonite and then got fire piquet duty this sun. i wondered if i shld have accepted the offer to do today duty instead of sunday one. i just slept the whole day today. haizzz.
