It has been a horrible week for me. Been down with a super bad flu n sore throat since monday. the urge not to go to work seems so appealing. just send a sms to boss to say i am sick. but den, my dept is severely lack of manpower this week, so i shall not be a bastard. i shall go back to work even though i cld die any moment (tat's an exaggeration)... if i also go on mc or leave, angela wld be crying down there.. cannot let the bride to be be more stressed up (she is alreadly stressed up). though i could not handle most of the shit that the user throw to us, i at least do help out a bit. those i can solve i solve on my side. those that are too chim i then pass to her loh.. I only know like 10% of SAP?

2 more weeks before i end this job. there are some parts that i simply miss. some which i do not. I gonna miss some of the people around in the office. some are really nice people to work with. back to studies for 4 more years.... no more bumming around at night or during weekends...

also met up with the 6A gang on sat. sadly only 9 ppl came. so many ppl last min fly plane.. still, it was a nice gathering, with us updating each other on how we are doing. we were saying, it's going to be 10 years soon and we are still meeting. not bad huh... and btw, i haven got the pictures yet!!!

sunday outing was sort of a last minute one. tee n ps wanted to go shopping, then kim also want, so the four of us went orchard together. putting kim & ps together, wah piang eh... havoc. I think if we were to stay longer at burger king, we would be chased out. sometimes, it is such misbehaving and fooling around that really make my day, despite being a nuisance to others. really, we are behaving like some sec sch kids like what tee says...

and i read that miss usa fell down during the pagent and i found this clip.


really ouch! falling straight on the butt. but she still did well with a 8.7 score. so like what people always say, it doesn't matter how you fall, it's how you get up.

It must have been too much Heroes.

I had a strange dream last night. I was in the office pantry and looking towards the Ferris Wheel. Suddenly, a glow of light like an explosion just shone from there and I was shouting for everyone to take cover. I squat down for a while and nothing happened and I woke up with my heart beating hard. Weird dreams.... They say dreams do tell us something, so what does it mean? and that is not one dream i remembered clearly, the other dream was someone i knew, whom i have not seen for quite some time, saying something that is clearly a slap in my face for me, something that really hurt me. I could feel the pain in my heart even after i woke up. I don't know what this means. Is this really how i view myself to be? Anyway, I msg him today and we are meeting up sometime next week. I should really stop thinking about this. oh btw, my office did seems super bright the moment i stepped in this morning. It did remind me of this strange dream. it's not only me who thinks it is so bright. my other colleague says so. it's due to the sky being a cloudless day. so what does it means? Embrace the new day with joy?

btw, the ending of Heroes was rather crappy... they did show a sneak preview of Season 2.

and also, on monday, I called in sick and then spent the whole day finishing Prison Break 2 n Grey's Anatomy 3. haha.. just feeling damm unwell and down on tat morning.... not sure why also.... they one day dedicated to my ownself only does help a lot. so guys, sometimes, it's gd to take a break. 所谓休息是为了走更长远的路

I seriously need a getaway. just unable to find others who can go with me... sianz.... someday i shall pick up the courage and set off on my own... someday i will!

this morning just spoilt my whole day. I can't believe i actually missed 3 trains and arrived late at work. Missed my usual 7.28am train, and had to settle for the 7.35 one. When the 7.35 arrived, it was so packed that only a few can get on at cck. then at JE, i actually had to miss 2 trains! I was wondering, with just 3 stations before JE, how can the train get so freaking packed? It got me thinking, why are there so many people travelling to work today, like there is some carnival in town? I don't see this much people everyday. this brings me to something that really pisses me (and i am sure a lot of others too), people who simply don't move towards the centre of the train and instead cluster fu*k around the door.

everyday train that i see, there will be lots of space in the centre, while the door area is packed like sardines. Why can't people just move in, or if they want to stand near the door, give way to people. I always have to go 'excuse me' and squeeze through barriers of people to get the centre. and the funny thing is, people aren't willing to stand close to each other at the centre of the train, effectively wasting space. This, coupled with some other factors, such as some idiots who sit with their legs stretched out (i once purposely kick someone's leg). Everyone wants to get to work/school on time, so can't everyone cooperate and make each other life much happier? It just takes one selfish guy to deprive maybe 2 or maybe 3 passengers their space on the train. and i there are those who open their papers big big (taking up another space) and read like nobody business.

Imagine that is not the end of my frustration. When walking from the MRT to office, there will definitely be smokers who smoke and walk. I have nothing against somkers, but i simply hate those who smoke and walk. If you happen to walk behind such idiots, you could be breathing in 2nd hand smoke all the while. These ppl could have just sit down or hide in some spot and smoke correct?

and i am sure many of us have encountered such people and we would only complain and curse under our breath. The fact is, how many of us dare to go up to such people and tell them off in their face?

so, what makes my morning sometimes depends on how many such idiots i encounter on my way to work..

ok. one more mth of work. one more mth of getting squashed on the train.

and oh ya. I am eligible for the $300 bucks! dunno next yr still can get or not, cause no cpf contribution liao... think the $300 shall tide me over july, when i will be jobless....

finally got to catch spiderman 3 today. Though it's about 2.5 hrs long, it doesn't feel draggy at all. I find that the character's development are done at a well paced, and actions scenes aren't overdone. One thought though, I think mary jane won't have a fear of height. due to her always being caught by the bad guys and hung at some high places, then falling down and being saved by spidey at the last minute. Also not to forget them dating on the spider web high up on the trees.(wonder if they make out there??) And at least this movie tells us something. There is no point being powerful, but not being yourself.

a nice movie experience being sort of spoiled by some ppl in the cinema. First was this kid sitting behind us. at occasions, he was talking damm loudly till it got a bit irritating. can hear his father asking to keep quiet, 'shhh'. I feel that parents should not bring kids that are very young and cannot sit still for the whole movie. I am not against kids in cinemas. but knowing kids can get cranky after some time and knowing that this is a rather long movie, parents should really consider twice before bringing the child in. if it is some movie cartoon like Happy Feet, I think kids would be entertained and they won't be making a din, plus kids movie aren't too long. towards the end of the movie, the kid was talking non stop and his father was trying his best to hush the kid.. "papa, how come he die? " "papa, how come now he is blue?" and his daddy was going "shhh!!" "don't talk so loud"... since he is a small kid, i think most of us just let it be.

then there was this couple beside me. Not that they are talking out loud, but their actions are sort of distrating me. y? the girl had her hands all over the guy, chest n thighs (don't know whether she got touch 'there' or not) . really, she was caressing her bf while lying on his chest. and there is the occasional kissing sound right beside me that is so distrating (not that i want to see them make out, but it was just in the corner of my eyes). I told tee that they might be making out there next. I was thinking, come on, there's no need to get to intimate in cinema.... I almost had another movie right beside me. and when the lights came on, i realise that the guy looked rather old and the girl looked young. More like father and daughter. yucks!

and so that sums up my spiderman 3 experience. haha... lots of blockbuster coming up. Like Pirates 3, Shrek 3.

and i haven't been updating the whole of this week. Interesting to take note, there is this stupid idiot driving on the pedestrain path in front of The Concourse. and it is BMW somemore... How does he get his license when he doesn't know how to differentiate a road from a pedestrain path?

This was after he had done a 3 point turn and heading out towards the road... too bad we did not catch the license plate.

as for the rest of the week? It was spent by my tutions kids driving me up the wall and making my blood pressure shoot to an all time high... (not all my student lah.. got 1 is gd girl one.)

first visit to settlers cafe. Heard so much about that place and today finally got to go down there. Well, it was a bdae celebration for pei ling and a super belated one for chia hong with the s07 gang.

all of us were a bit crazy down there. esp the heart attack game. it was just chaotic. at least we were not as loud as the table next to us. another interesting thing is the idiot game. This is how the game goes. Each one of us will draw a card, which determines you are an 'idiot' or 'non-idiot'. then the leader ask one questions and we have to answer it. the catch is, if you are an 'idiot', you have to purposely answer wrongly while non-idiots have to get it right. Then after the answer is revealed, we will take a look at who is right or wrong and from there, try to guess if someone is the idiot. haizz. i can't pretend to be an idiot... someone always managed to catch me.

and while we were on our way home at clarke quay mrt station, there was a train disruption. sibei sian. end up we took a bloody long time to reach home... ask peiling for 4 digit. so heng mah. encounter train break down. tmr must go buy...

At such hours, I am not yet sleeping but still blogging. Could not keep the excitement of watching Heroes Ep 20 till tmr. and of course, could not keep the excitement to blog about it till tmr. Basically, ep20 brings us to the future 5 years after the explosion. We see our Heroes in the future, what they have become. Different groups and alliances have been formed and there seems to be inter killing. Shall not say much here for the sake of those who have not watched. The ending just leaves me wanting more (again)! okok, i am officially so crazy about this show liao... Meet another Heroes fan and i can go on non-stop. Unfortunately, I only knew another of such person and he is watching star world, so still a few episodes behind. Everybody go watch Heroes!!!

and oh. I dun like the image of the future Hiro. Future Peter is cool (like neo from matrix). and future claire is so hot!

also met up with lee ching today with the np gang. she's flying off to us for work travel usa soon. Envious!! How i wish i cld go on such a program. Working in an amusement park for 2 months and then travelling for the other. Perhaps I shld join next time. I have always wanted to try living in another country all on my own. be in studies or work. and when i have the time (and money of course), i would be touring around the country. so Work Travel USA?? SEP??

I am always complaining that i have not taken a well rest, but i still kept running out of the house once the opportunity comes. Finally the long weekend i am looking forward to has come. Mon is company holiday. haha. no work and still get paid. since i am not working, it makes sunday feels like a saturday and i was like super energetic.

2 1/2 days of shopping is a bit crazy. sat met up with kc to go shopping for presents. basically combed the whole of suntec and marina sq. haha. but we did look at our own stuff too. then yest actually walked around town with mum. and today was 1/2 day of shopping at orchard. meant to find a gift and ended up buying something. It was on a offer i simply could not resist it.

and it was all just not shopping today. went to ecp to cycle. it's not the soreness of the leg that makes me tired, it the pain from the butt. It's really a great feeling hanging out in ecp on a monday morning. the crowd isn't there. Just the sea breeze and the morning sun. The whole feeling is like so calm compared to the chaotic weekends. me and tee were saying, the next time i can visit ecp on a monday morning would be after my contract end in june. Now that i found a new direct service to marine parade from bukit panjang, i think i gonna drop by there more often. Miss the old west coast park, where there is at least a sea line. now it is just pathetic.

luckily there is still tmr to recover from all these... if someone ask me out last min tmr, then haha...

when i first moved to a new seat at work, marc told me this "the person who sits down here will fall sick in less than 2 weeks, it has been proven." and words do come true. was down with a very very bad flu on tue.. ran of tissue and had to go 'kope' my boss's tissue (he got one whole stack on his desk). then wed MC liao... first MC on the job. It must be the damm aircon. The seat is in a location where the aircon just blows directly on me. 忽冷忽热,不病是怪. he then told me all those who sat in that seat, including himself, will take MC in about 2-3 weeks time. tat seat is so cursed. so yest and today, was armed with a jacket and everyone was going '你很冷啊?' lucky for the jacket, this morning meeting room was freezing cold.....

Saw a YEP trip this coming july... was actually considering whether to join. too many things in sg to take care of. firstly, wld be very disruptive to my 3 tuition kids. then my TP test is during that period. plus i think matriculation shld be also tat period... and it is just days after my hk trip. so in all, it wld really be a crazy mth if i go. Then, if i decide not to go, i wld just be idling around for almost the whole month, join some orientation camps and that's it. What a way to waste 1 mth huh. (reminds me of the days just before ORD, where everyday is just wasted away). dunno what stuck me also, this morning on the train, i just decide to go ahead and submit the application. might not get in also.. if really do get selected, i shall make the decision again. better than regretting only in july.

Just came back from my company DnG (Dinner n Games), no dance. it was pure madness.... as they had said, no management for the night. the management ppl themselves went crazy lah..... the fashion parade thing was the funniest. got ppl strip on stage (manager somemore), then got ppl crossdress.... laugh until jaws ache. and of course supporting our dept representive for the superstar contest, richard!! and there are some singing powerhouse in the company.... really, 人不可貌相...... it's nice to see everyone letting their hair down and enjoying the night.. but towards the end, things started to get draggy and ppl all start to zao liao.... we are seated right in front, so cannot zao....

dropped by nus for the medical check up today... really, the atmosphere is scary... ppl mugging everywhere.... from YIH to central library to all the common corridoors.... shivering at the thought of mugging, which is the end of this year....kim cheong n i were discussing.... are we able to adapt into the mugging world after 2 yrs break?

and someone had talked to me about Heroes. The series took a break and the next episode is the coming week! as it had been quite some time since the last epi, the suspense isn't that great liao... think i shall go watch ep 18 again..... and grey's anatomy also... took a long break. why must all the nice shows so many breaks??? spoiling the momentum....
