crowds at orchard is really mad on weekends. i dun really like to go during weekends. to eat, have to queue. to shop, have to queue. take bus come home, also must queue. i think for the ladies, there is one more thing to queue for: the washroom.

meet up witht he SO7 gang as chung is back in singapore. I haven seen him since we graduated from college. He still looks the same. The strange thing is that even though we haven kept in contact for so long, we don't have the unfamilar feeling. went for lunch and we talked a lot. i was particularly interested in the cultural difference between us and the US. an example he gave us was the word 'rubber' and 'eraser'. in the US, an eraser is not called a 'rubber' and 'rubber' actually refers to condom. so can you imagine when he says 'anyone has seen my rubber?' in class?? and he is actually learning chinese!!! don't know when's the next time we gonna meet as he said he may not be coming back for the next few yrs as he has some summer research thing. another thing was we were like interogating kai ning on her relationship. we all agreed it was kind of surprising that she was the first among us to get attached. me and yingxuan were talking and we were both the type that wait for the other half to fall down from sky type. but kaining is also such person i think. so i guess her 'yuan fen' came eariler. i really do believe in fate.

was in HMV today and this song 'walk away' by fan yi chen was really addictive and i really like his album a lot! plus the song 'love story'. definitely one of my fav albums of the yr. and i heard tanya's new song on 933 today. it is just so lovely addictive.

The above was the words exchanged between my snr medic and my crazy clerk. wah lau. he was like drunk or high on drugs loh. he was in a stupor the whole day, and still dare to say that to my snr medic. I actually heard it from my driver and i was like laughing so hard at it. Didn't know that crazy guy can come out with something so creative. No wonder what i heard my snr medic screaming was "what the fu*k". ( i was hiding away from the scene. who would be so stupid to stay down there)

i was so bored the other day and i was surfing around on youtube, watching all the stupid funny video. what caught my attention was takeshi castle. This famous japanese game show where players have to go through many many rounds of mostly physical challenges and then go through a final battle with takeshi to win the prize. This was a freaking long ago show. Still remember i like to watch it when i was young. some of the challenges were freaking funny. like jumping into the hole and if the hole has a monster, you lose immediately. then crossing a bridge, then halfway have to catch a ball, then continue on, while more balls are being shot at you to bring you down. so damm nice to watch!!

after a 2 days mc at home, i don't feel like going back to work again. this is life. once you stop, you don't feel like moving on. spent the first day of my mc sleeping cause i was feeling so damm drowsy and restless the whole damm day. the 2nd day was spent right in front of my comp.

finally finished watching 仙剑奇侠传. the ending is just so damm sad. almost all the character died. the part where ling er pulled herself through, when she had promised xiao yao that she will not die, and how xiao yao didn't want to see her suffer and ask her to go. oh my god. that part was really heart wrenching. what a sad love story....

was a hectic day today... haiz. went back to nj with kim, peiling n kaining. the place has changed qutie a bit. feel so unfamilar with the new environment. dun even know any of the juniors around. btw, the funtasia was kind of sian. really nothing much to do. it was just stalls at the canteen, then the linkway and the road leading to the tutorial blocks. it is nothing compared to the one we did 2 yrs ago. tat was really a funfair. then, there was this mood, the joyful, the cheerful, the hip feel. but today, i was just totally disappointed with the funtasia. we were like walking around the school looking for teachers and visiting our old classroom instead of the fun fair. when we went back to our old tutorial class, we were surprised to find that the mural we drew was still there! other classrooms were given a new coat of paint, but for our class, they only painted the parts not covered by the mural. at least our work is still gonna be around for quite some time. a few changes to the school here and there. the canteen toilets are now like wow! and there are additions like tables at the linkway for the canteen, new paint on some areas. after walking aimlessly for a while, we decided it was too sian so we left to go K. doubt i am gonna go back to nj...

watched poseidon too. it was not as bad as what reviews has said. at least it did keep me on the edge of my seat throughout the show. can even feel nervous for the actors, my palm was like kind of sweaty u see. story plot was like qutie rubbish, but the action was good. though the plan sound kind of ridiculous, it was really exciting to watch. and the part where the old man was asked to shake off the guy (the crew member) at the lift was ... i dunno what to say also. for survival, it was no choice, but can one really bear to do that? and one good thing was there was no draggy storyline. action began shortly after the movie started. overall, a gd show!~

He meant '岩浆' actually. i was like laughing quite hard as this mistake. imagine coconut milk flowing out of the volcano. reminds me of a youtube clip where a newscaster mentioned 'blowjob' out of the blue. i shall try to look for that video again. and the dj were laughing so hard after that. i think some people who weren't paying much attention to the radio wouldn't have noticed this mistake. it was something like this for me too. initally, it was like nothing, oh, the volcano has erupted, but then suddenly it dawned on me "椰浆"???

now seems like an auspicious period for the entertainment industry. so many albums are released in this period. and so many movies too!! MI 3 and poisedon just opened not too long ago. then xmen 3 coming up. also da vinci code, the hedge, scary movie 4, superman blah blah blah. all those movies me wanting to watch. still remember there was a period where there was practically nothing to look forward to at the theatres, but then all of a sudden, all the most anticipated movies start to pop out.

a lot of new songs worth recommending too. bought jolin's new album. her ballads are much more better than previous works and of course her dance tracks are good as expected. recommended songs include "马德里不思议" , "假装", "心型圈". and her song from the album from her previous company "我要的选择" is just too good. people are gonna get a jolin overdose these days.

other recommended albums include tracy su's. a refreshing voice compared all the singers nowadays. it's always good to have a soothing familar voice among the new singers. and there is this new singer tank., with recommended tracks like 我们小时候, 独唱情歌, 曙光.

woohoO!! totally enjoying this long weekend of mine. so sad that it's gonna end soon. spent all my time watching tv and on my comp. going to complete 仙剑奇侠传. a really tragic story. and also watch a lot of crap show. like yest on 我猜我猜我猜猜猜 , they were looking for girls with 娃娃音 and some of them, the voice is really tooo much!!! for people who complain abt 林志玲's 爹声，these girls are much worse!!!

as my long weekend approaches, i am feeling much better as the days go by. haven had a proper weekend for 2 weeks continuously. now, having to wake up early morning on sat, then having duty on sun, i haven been sleeping to my max for 2 weeks. can imagine how zombie i am. can see panda rings appearing around my eyes (then y am i still here blogging??)

went up with the np gang last sat. haven met up for quite some time. everytime we meet, we would be doing some crazy or 'exotic' acitivity, but this week, we just went shopping and steamboat at marina (if you consider that exotic enough). can't believe that i actually went to marina twice in a week. imagine how much weight i gonna put on after the 2 feast. food at chin huat indeed looks much cleaner, compared to the one i went to last time (dunno wat's the name, the one beside chin huat). the prawns were really yummy!! but it actually rained halfway, thanks to tee's big mouth, but they actually had this shelter thing that can open up when it rain. the main topic for us for the night was actually the general elections. we all want to get home early to watch the results. can imagine how 激动 kunying was when the elections results are out. perhaps it is because i am much older now, i began to look at the elections from another view, the view opposing the govt. i started to put more notice to the opposition this time round. in this ge, they a indeed a group to watch out for. the actions of the govt, esp the james gomez incident really disgust me. it is like playing dirty, taking advantage of your opponent, stiking them when they are at their weakest point. i am not surprised by the results this yr, hoping to see a greater oppposition power next time, see how they could change the parliament and their policies.

been watching lots of crap variety show like 志永智勇电力学校 and 康熙来了. xiao S is really a interesting character to watch, the show is just so different without her. she was talking abt her sch life with some of her classmates like 大S, 阿雅 and it made me miss sch life a bit. besides the studying part, sch life is actually so fun and then making good friends. it's quite a pity that sch friends actually drift apart after we graduate. as for 志永智勇, i admit i am watching it more for 林志玲，but sometimes the 'students' from the show really spice the show up.

it's has been an exciting week. was attached to ADF med grp at HQMC. yeah! no need to stay in camp to do all the shit. in fact, at ADF, except for all the carrying, unloading, loading, it is quite slack. in fact, with so many people helping, the loads were still managable.

what i had to help out with is actually a peace support operation container. it is something like a mobile hospital. i was at the operating theatre section. what we had to do is to expand the container and then set up the theatre. from outside, the container looked like it is automated, but what they didn't know was that we were pushing from outside. even today, during the launch, some of the officers thought it was automated, but too bad it is not. talk abt 3G army.

today, the lauch was really successful. it was really panic time during the deployment. me, being at the OT, had to open up the container from scratch and then push the side walls out. the wall on my side almost got stuck, and before we even finish setting up the OT, the chief of army was alreadly outide the container, waiting to come in to look through. but luckily, all went well and we were constantly being praised. the reward?? dunno got how many days off, haven decided yet. hope it would be at least 2-3 days.

after the launch, by right we were supposed to keep everything, but it was cat 1, so we get to slack inside the officer mess at hqmc. the mess is really really nice. think it is the nicest mess i ever seen. and of course, we get to drink duty free beer. shiok! dun mind being attached here more often, and no need to do all the shit in camp. but dun think sgt nur would want to attach us out again.

i think i am high on alcohol now. tmr still have tuition and i got a new assignment! now hoping to get maybe 1 more on a weekday. money money money!!!

long weekend!!

the long weekend has finally come to an end. i got off on thu, so got an extra day of rest. In total 4 days of no work!! I feel like a civilian. Dunno if i should make it a 5 day break. play some stunt tmr. no mood to work after such a long break

at least i did something during this break. my new comp is all set up and ready and my room is much neater now, without disc and books lying all abt my room. the LCD screen really free up a lot of space from my desk. my cock up printer has also been exchanged and now it is working fine. also carried on watching 仙剑奇侠传. Some of the parts are funny, but the love between 逍遥 and 灵儿 is so touching. the funny thing i just watched was the son of the 蛤蟆精. Though there has been so many computer graphics in this show, why can't they make the character out of computer graphics instead of getting someone to wear the funny looking suit. looks like some oversized teletubbies like tat.

been so bored that i found quite a lot of crap on youtube. this got to be the ultimate lame crap.
